Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker Voice Their Support for Mark Hoppus Following Cancer Reveal
Blink-182's Mark Hoppus revealed yesterday that he's currently battling cancer. Confirming the sad news, he wrote, "It sucks and I'm scared, and at the same time I'm blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get me through this." And now two of those friends — Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker — have voiced some public support for Hoppus.

Despite DeLonge leaving Blink-182 back in 2015, he made it very clear that he still has Hoppus' back.

"To add to his own words that he used today, I would also like to say that he is strong, and a super-human who is pushing through this difficult obstacle with a wide-open heart," DeLonge tweet late last night (June 23), adding: "#WeHaveHisBack." Blink drummer Barker also voiced his support for Hoppus as he battles through this. Speaking to E! News, Barker said he "loves and supports" Hoppus, adding: "Mark is my brother and I love and support him. I will be with him every step of the way on stage and off and can't wait for us to play together again soon."

As previously reported, Hoppus made his cancer diagnosis public yesterday, explaining that he has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment for the past three months.
