The Great British Bake Off finally launched its 11th season last night, and in addition to the debut of new co-host Matt Lucas, the show's notable faces included a fondant-covered bust of Blink-182's Tom DeLonge.

Contestant David was responsible for the melty looking pop-punk atrocity you see above. The project saw contestants attempt to make cakes to immortalize their personal heroes.

Tom DeLonge himself responded to the sugary bust, offering his typical brand of juvenile humour. On Instagram, he said, "When I was younger, and needed the money, I did a few hundred adult films. This looks EXACTLY like me at the time. EXACTLY."
