The long-running feud between rappers Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma took another heated turn last night (June 25) at the BET Awards.Ma took home the trophy for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, beating out Missy Elliott, Cardi B, Young M.A. and Minaj herself — who until last night's ceremony had held the title for an impressive seven consecutive years.
In her acceptance speech, Ma expressed her gratitude for getting a "second chance" and thanked her husband Papoose, as well as her business partner and Plata o Plomo collaborator Fat Joe, before spitting a few bars.
She later took to social media for a few extra thank-you messages.
Minaj, meanwhile, seems unperturbed by the upset. She took to Instagram yesterday just to casually share a massive list of accomplishments of her own, including an ASCAP award that earned her the title of "most awarded female rapper in history." Check out the impressive rundown of her own victories below.
