Published Mar 18, 2020Weeks after fans may have been exposed to coronavirus at their New Zealand show, Tool have postponed the first leg of their North American spring tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
So far, the band have postponed 13 total dates from April 16 through May 5, writing in a statement that "All previously purchased tickets for the above dates will be honored for the rescheduled performances," which will be announced "as soon as possible."
Affected Canadian dates include shows in Montreal and Quebec City. At this time, Tool are still slated to play Vancouver, Edmonton and Winnipeg in late May and early June. You can find their updated itinerary below.
Tool have been touring behind last year's Fear Inoculum, the band's first album in over a decade. Earlier this year, album track "7empest" netted the band a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.
