Damon Albarn's Africa Express Announce 'EGOLI' Album
Damon Albarn's Africa Express project has announced a new album called EGOLI. It's due out on July 12.

The 18-track album was recorded over the span of a week in Johannesburg, South Africa, last January and takes its name from the Xhosa word for the "city of gold."

Africa Express promotes collaboration between Western and African artists, and in addition to Albarn, the cast of players this time around includes guitarist Phuzekhemisi, Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, Ghetts, Mr. Jukes, Georgia, Radio 123 and Mahotella Queens.
