R.I.P. 'Gremlins' Actor Dick Miller
Dick Miller — the actor known for his memorable roles in such cult films as Gremlins, The Terminator and The Howling — has died. His family confirmed his passing, revealing the actor died of natural causes in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday (January 30). He was 90.

In a statement, Miller's family said: "His sense of humour and the unique way he looked at the world won him many lifelong friends and worldwide fans."

Miller was a prolific actor, to say the least, with his career spanning more than 60 years. After first launching his career at the start of the 1950s with screen legend Roger Corman, Miller went on to make hundreds of onscreen appearances.

For many, Miller will be remembered best for his role as Murray Futterman in director Joe Dante's Gremlins films. But Miller also starred in the cult classic A Bucket of Blood, as well as landed roles in a pile of other films, including The Terminator, Fame and Night of the Creeps.

Miller also appeared in other Dante classics, such as The Howling, The 'Burbs and Piranha.

Miller's final film role will be in the horror film Hanukkah, which has yet to see release.
