Conan the Barbarian Is Getting His Own Netflix Show
Conan — the impressively buff barbarian made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger — is getting his very own Netflix show.

Today news emerged that the iconic fantasy character created by Robert E. Howard is getting rebooted by the streamer, Deadline reports. While few details exist so far, the Netflix project will be a live-action TV series, though there is apparently room for even more Conan projects at Netflix.

Apparently, the project by Fredrik Malmberg and Mark Wheeler's Pathfinder Media comes after Netflix and Conan Properties International sealed a deal to give Netflix the option to "acquire rights to the Conan literary library and develop works across TV and film, both live-action and animated," according to Deadline.

So far, there's no word on a showrunner, and most importantly, there is no word on who could be playing the muscle-bound sword swinger. Beyond Schwarzenegger famously playing Conan, Jason Momoa portrayed the character in the 2011 Conan the Barbarian reboot, while Ralf Möller played him in the short-lived '90s TV series.
